It snowed hard yesterday and last night. This morning, I woke to a different planet. And I realized it's Dec 20, Winter Solstice, anniversary of the death of Dr. Carl Sagan. And I thought of the billions of snow flakes, in billions of configurations and I wondered: are there more flakes out here than stars in the sky? It's too big for me, so I just filmed my dogs, playing. Look for twinkle sparkles of floating ice crystals.
