When Fox News anchor and attorney Megyn Kelly appeared on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor" and called the pepper spray used on Uc Davis student protestors "a food product, essentially," it caused outrage on the internet, but the more important misinformation attorney Megyn Kelly conveyed to her viewers was a legal analysis ignoring the important limits the Bill of Rights puts on the conduct of police, as I show in this video.
The clip I show of my previous video titled "Fox News Blames Pepper Spray on Students Not Police?" comes from the YouTube video player page at http://bit.ly/tofTGR
The clips I show of Megyn Kelly and Bill O'Reilly comes from a longer segment of Fox News' November 21, 2011, broadcast of "the O'Reilly Factor" currently available on YouTube at http://bit.ly/rwP5gR
The image I show of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Northern California's November 21, 2011, letter to University of California Davis Chancellor Linda Katehi comes from the webpage at http://bit.ly/ACLUtoKatehi
You can also read the entire text of the case cited in that letter, Headwaters Forest Defense v. County of Humboldt 276 F.3rd 1125 (9th Cir. 2002), at http://bit.ly/rBjIj8
