BIG PhRMA finds a NEW way to exploit the poor & taxpayers!

Florida's debated welfare drug-screen measure kicks in

Under the law, which went into effect on Friday, the Florida Department of Children and Family Services will be required to conduct the drug tests on adults applying to the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.
The aid recipients would be responsible for the cost of the screening, which they would recoup in their assistance if they qualify.

You middle class people just don't get it, do you? It's a way to further stigmatize those of us who've been economically exploited into poverty. It must be OUR fault we're destitute; we brought it on ourselves. You actually believe the propaganda about an american dream, that keeps you good, compliant consumers. Those of us who know it's all a lie, those of us who fell through the huge holes in the net, must be silenced, lest you wake from your Matrix dream and realize you've been had, that your kids, spouses, car payments and houses are all hostages to keep you obedient, and that you should be tearing down the very institutions that caused this in the first place. Blame the victims; that keeps the status quo in power. happy "independence" day.
