For the most part, students are paying more money for less service. In Riverside, the libraries close earlier, there are fewer teaching assistants and academic tutors, and it is often impossible to secure a spot in a class needed to graduate.

California Cuts Weigh Heavily on Its Colleges

‎...but there's always money for war. Listen, we're not going to HAVE a middle class in this country much longer; it isn't necessary. We can sell crap to the new middle class of China and India. In THIS country, there will be the elite, who have the ivy league and wouldn't be caught dead in a state system, and we'll have the servant class. Those poorer than that can be leeched by private prisons, government defense contractors and Big PhRMA happy pills. We don't WANT an educated populace. That's why a candidate for President can actually say, without being laughed out of the room, that Black kids were better off under slavery, "because, at least, they had 2 parents" and nobody is vociferously challenging this Jesus rode a dinosaur bullshit. It's the new dark ages, people, If you're not going to fight against it, stop whining and suck it up.
