But there are aspects of nearly every political platform with which I agree. On the subject of Occupy Wall Street, the extraction of US citizens' wealth is the point.

We are becoming a 3rd world nation: in debt, defaulting, at the mercy of mega-banks and brokers. Our politicians represent corporate interests, period. It is a neo-feudal economy: we are being put at their mercy.

Everything I love about my country is rapidly disintegrating into everything I hate about my country: exploitation, hate, gossip, superstition, prejudice, abuse... they are the distraction, the bread and circuses, that keep us from noticing we are, quite literally, being bled to death by parasitic "capitalism."
