Here's your tax dollars at work! Mo Fo stole communications equipment, protective gear, etc. from his own Sherrif's department AND SOLD IT ON eBAY TO SOLDIERS (poor people) GOING TO IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN (because the freakin' GOVERNMENT wouldn't supply them!), to protect the oil companies' stockholders!

THIS is why you call 'em PIGS!

If you're poor, you gotta LOVE this picture! SwEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEt!
And Santa Fe likes to pride itself on being so urbane and la dee dah, full of actors, with housing so expensive, poor folk live in trailers on the edges of town, so they can commute in to scrub toilets of the Elite from their non-stinking feces. Nah, it ain't the wild west up THERE! ROFLMFAO!

Santa Fe County Sheriff resigns after admitting selling supplies on the side

From the Santa Fe New Mexican:
The New Mexico State Police say they have been investigating Greg Solano for embezzling surplus supplies from the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office for months.
Solano resigned as county sheriff  this morning after admitting he used his office to sell old protective body vests and other supplies no longer utilized by deputies.
“I have done some things that I should not have done and am ready to come clean and face the consequences,” Solano wrote to staff and supporters.
Undersheriff Robert Garcia was sworn in as interim sheriff by the Santa Fe County Commission, which held an emergency meeting at noon to administer the oath of service by telephone.
The new sheriff was coming into office on Jan. 1 anyway, but this is another blow to public confidence in elected officials.
You can read the entire story here.
Solano is a member of the board of the New Mexico Lottery. I’ve sent an e-mail to the lottery’s communications director asking if his status with the board has changed in light of today’s news. I’ll post a response as soon as I get one.
Update: Linda Hamlin of the lottery says Solano resigned from the board Tuesday.
