But I had to tell you something.
I ran into Renee, who'd just arrived, in the volunteer room.
She said the nukes report was very good. It airs tonight.
Then, she said the most remarkable thing: she said I ought to submit it for a broadcast journalists' award!
I don't know whether to laugh or cry or both.
I got a good interview with the president of the teachers' union today for my story on No Child Left Behind. She also faxed me a list of teachers I can contact for interviews. THAT could end up a REALLY big story!
Still waiting to hear back from FSRN. I made the edits, to both script and audio. I sent them a somewhat-related story I found.
They haven't emailed me back, though, so I don't know the status.
