Well, it's been a useful day

You are reading http://livinginthehood.blogspot.com

I've been window shopping MiniDisc players.

I've got 5 laundry baskets of stuff put away. So, now the house is clean AND there's no avalanche of clothes in the bed room!

All dishes are washed.

Carrots, beets, apples are soaking in water; I'm going to sort, clean and juice them tonight.

I still have to change my bed. I'll need a shower first, though...this body is NOT going onto clean SHEETS!

It's hot out, but I'm hiding in here, with my new air conditioner, happy as a clam. Or a mussel.

I'm beggin A.I.R. for a reduced membership fee, so I can join.

Still don't have clearance from PayPal on my dang scooter tires. It cleared my bank, but PayPal says "June 9th" which probably means the end of the dang day! Shoot!

I SHOULD go to the grocery & get my vacuum belt & laundry soap, but I don't want to wear myself out, walking in that heat!

I'm just now getting relaxed, unwinding tight muscles, feeling rested. I don't want to get all ouchie again just yet.

I have plenty to do right here, for now.

I just don't want a pile of bed linens out there, while we're trying to cook on Sunday.

I feel a nap coming on. Even though I slept REALLY late this morning.

I'm healing, recovering. I get to sleep.

I'm WAY behind on my blogging!

I've still got over half that 1/2 pint of whiskey left. I'll save it for Gurrl Cocktails, Old Fashioneds, some other day.

Maybe drinking one's sorrows away works for others, but it makes things worse for me. Even when I am sure to drink in moderation. Oh, sure, I wanted to drink the whole bottle, at first. But, once I felt tipsy, the whiskey felt like just one more thing I had to struggle against, and I didn't need THAT!

Besides, I'm too physically weak for the discombobulation of alcohol. I have a hard enough time, walking, already!

I broiled my lamb steak for breakfast/lunch and made homefries in my Fry Daddy, served with sour cream and some of my tomato sauce. Dang, that was good!

I still have maybe 3 pkgs. of meat in the freezer, a couple of chunks of ham, and a whole salmon! LOL I am NOT running out of food! Thank you very much.

Thank goodness for Food Not Bombs!

Oh, crap! All Reagan, All The Time resumes....yawn.

That sick freak! I don't believe he was ever alive. I think he was an animatron! One of those Disney puppets: just plug him in, prop him up, and he says what you want to hear.

Reagan's puppet administration was the beginning of the crap we're in now. Same players, same tactics, same death and paranoia.

"Freedom fighter," my right big toe!

They timed it just right, to come on just after the afternoon soap operas, huh?

Well, I think I'll nap now.

The world can live without me for awhile.

I'm having a very happy day!
